Policy decisions about health care, education, social services, the criminal justice system, and the economy have a major impact on the lives of children and families in North Carolina. Unfortunately, their voices are often left out of the policymaking process.
That’s where the Child Advocacy Network comes in—we leverage the strength of the agencies, organizations, and individuals who care about our state’s children to ensure that our elected officials put children first.
The Child Advocacy Network is a project of NC Child, a nonprofit organization working to “build a strong North Carolina by advancing public policies to ensure all children – regardless of race, ethnicity, or place of birth – have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.”
There are no dues for North Carolina Child Advocacy Network membership. Members’ names and city or county of residence may be listed publicly in materials however contact information will never be shared without the explicit permission of the member. All members are asked to designate at least one area of interest (listed below).
